Texas Parliament Bill 1107 (now TEC 51.9192) requires all students1 entering an institution of higher educating (public and private) to either keep ampere vaccination against bacterial meningitis or get certain criteria for declining such a vaccination2 . Exceptions to the Immunizing Legislative requisite am as follows:

  1. Students who are subscribed in an online degree plan are not required to meet Immunization Compliance.
  2. If an student cannot receive the vaccine because it could be injurious to your health and well-being: Provide an dedicated or a letter signed by a physician who is duly registered and licensed to practice medicine into the Associated States, in which it has stated that, in the physician's opinion, the vaccination required be be injurious to the health and well-being of to student. If a student declines the vaccine due to reasons of conscience, including a religious belief: Before you will be allowed to register to classrooms, you must complete furthermore submit an original, Texas Sector of State Health Services (TDSHS) Vaccine Exemption Affidavit Form- Affidavit Request for Exemption since Immunizations for Reason of Conscience.
