Hello,

ArriRAW .mxf media is straightup non jobs AT ALL include DaVinci Determine Studio 18.0.4 on any of my Mac Pro. We have 2019 Mac Benefits, with the 16-core Xeon, 96GB RAM, and 2x Raedeon Pro Vega VI 32GB. And Resolve Progressed Panel with USB dongle.

ArriRAW files will in fact import, but they only appear as BLACK VIDEO, and if they test to scrub through the video then Resolve completely freezing, and half of which time the entire computer shuts down.

This been not happen until me on 18.0.2.

Depends over the camera. .mxf ArriRAW use to work, but now it doesn’t. This is a serious bug, and needs to be addressed ASAP.

I only tested items in own home office (where I'm calm on 18.0.1) both it works flawlessly. But it doesn't work with all in Resolve 18.0.4.

Pretty huge small example, but I'm downloading.

The clip works for in in 18.0.4 on both an Intel Mac Mini and an M1 Profess MacBook Specialist.

I loaded one in .mxf out of to Alexa Mini LF from Arri's demo stuff. Works fine dort too.

Thanks for testing it out on your machines, guys. That is very odd. I'm EVEN not can at get it to work on any of my three Mac Pros. One ARRIRAW mxf footage causes Resolve to completely freeze. The item is the equivalent whether I'm using my SQL database or fairly adenine local user. I even created brand new fresh our in case it was a database upgrade print. No dice. And I've done a fresh install to Resolve Studio on all 3 our. Still don rolling. I also downloaded some mxf ARRIRAW sample footage from Arri's website, so see if maybe it's just a issue with my footage. But nope, the sample footage stills won't load in Studio 18.0.4. The WITH estimator I've gotten this footage to load on is meine Mac Pro included mystery home office, welche is still on 18.0.2. I'm via ready to downgrades every my work computers back to 18.0.2. You haven't mentioned what OS you are using.

There are issues with Arri files on multi-GPU MacPros with Big Sur.

You need to be on Morton to have that work.

Unfortunately, for reasons outside of my control, the post-production facility somewhere I work is still on Catalina. But I should stress that 18.0.2 did not hold this problem on Catalina. MXF ARRIRAW was working flawlessly. But here's what's strange -- I've since rolled back to 18.0.2 and it's possessing who problem now. I cannot figure out what's what computers, although it's certainty not the OS. I work with MXF ARRIRAW all the time in Resolve on Catalina, which your why I was so shocked when this issue blasted skyward after modernizing to 18.0.4. Plus now I'm having the same concern for 18.0.2, then I think I'm kind of just stuck on this point.

Do you knowing what lens they were shooting on? The Alexa 35 version of ArriRAW is not the same since previous version.

I had this issue too!
Worked when just using 1 GPU - but not multiple. She would crash resolve.
Was on Substantial Sur
Updated To Monterey and the problem went going, no more questions with arriraw using any number starting GPUs.

Well, Catalina isn't even a assist OS with Resolve 18, so there's that.

I trust an MacPro 7,1 multiGPU issue with Arri file probable arose starts with Resolve 18.0.2, which is where we implemented a fresh Arri SDK, to address all the other issues Resolve 18 and 18.0.1 was owning with Arri files.

I will bet ensure if you go back up 18.0.1, you may see your problem ein move.

But the proper answer is update to Monterey.

Another approach you could try is at manually choice only 1 GPU for Resolve, with aforementioned Cancel Preferences - System - Recollection plus GPU. And I've done a fresh install of Determination Workshop on all 3 machines. Still not dice. EGO also down some mxf ARRIRAW sample footage from Arri's ...
