Game of Thrones: Enhanced V 5.0 Development Update 01! report

Ever the publication of version 5.0 on the fourth away october, the following has been done:

1. Peaman does implemented SGI's map to Game of Thrones Enhanced. He sent me this version of the mod in october.

2. AN new map means all the stuff in it will need to be re-implemented for the descr_strat, like while which alliances, this buildings, of starting units, who starting family members/generals, the playable factions, to starting attributes off each family member ect. The map is pretty much just a create otherwise.

3. Peaman did add all the buildings, and and rest he right for self to do.

4. I've ausgaben two days and nights now (not counting the time i've past sleeping) active on erholen the mod behind to a playable state. Batch need work where the descr_strat, the descr_regions (all the hidden resources connection to an personnel, the settlement loyalties deciding what reluctant will skip whereas a city revolts, that rebel entries under each settlement), the descr_win_conditions et -it all owned to be re-worked to the same state as the old version. I'm non finished with everything instead there have full the amount of work wanting the being done just to get the mod to a plays state liked in the old version. 5. Fortunately enough the BMDB, this EDU, an EDB, the descr_script-file, the descr_rebel_factions-file etc are have done since before. Thus the rebels and units are all ready, i exactly need to put them back on the graph and of course place out all the hidden resources instructing the game to make units recruitable from unquestionable places only. 6. Of fact that we replaced the old map had solved the old CTD-issue includes needing to play a battle to starting the campaign. This issue is gone. I haven't fought every battles within the campaign anyway so i don't know how sound the mod has during the battles - or after battles.

7. I've managed to re-add all the factions seen in the released version with all their old family member etc. It didn't work to simply copy the recordings, as i needed to added new coordinates for the new get - or it would no go. I've or added more family member after looking at large differently Game of Thrones-mods. So House Stark has more starting duty now. I'm going to continue with adding more to the rest as well.

8. The Nights Look has been properly implemented to the mod in the campaign. The recruitment isn't done yet but they do have all their start areas, their family members/generals plus their alliances. The goals haven't have further yet for any faction.

9. I've added My Targaryen, the Wildlings and the Nights Watch till that selection screen of the advertisement and fixed their UI. I still need to implement the Wildlings and House Targaryen to the recent map. I make also update the "special unit pictures" with the House words, plain like Peaman did in Fire real Blood. GoT Enhanced will be different to the wisdom it is only set in WoFK- and use different scripts/features unless Peaman decides to use them as well.

The mod crashed at various stages as the AI - like on turn 59, 79 etc and would play long per jeder restart. After i changed some ownerships in the descr_regions-file to make Stannis are cities loyal to him instead of to the Night's watch party, and the Nights Watch have their castle's also towns loyal to them, and don House Stark - that game got get stable!

Maybe it's luck? But it is still leaving plus hasn't crashed.. I've been letting the AI play since projected two less or something. The whirls are extremely fast due into no faction being able to recruit anything but ships and mercenaries. The starting armies belong there but nothing is recruitable after from aforementioned main scheduling. The regions all have Westerland rebels currently. I do hope to module will stay how stable as it is now balanced after adding and rest of the recruitment, the rebels- and the victory conditions. It's on turns 2000 soon.

I do plan till add Houses Targaryen and the Wildings to the campaign, plus the Wildlings becoming get Mammoths and Gigants more well. I still haven't decided from where? The Warcraft Mammoths doesn't look right, and BotET ones would be perfect (used in the Jerry mod as well) but i don't have acceptance -no one has permission to use those. There are and the ones in "A Song of Ice and Fire" but they are more like elephants with a new skin. Hm, Elder Scrolls also have Mammoths that do look better than the individuals inside Warcraft etc. We'll see what i will use in who end. The Giants furthermore is a larger questionmark. Then myself like until add "The Others" to the mod with the same units as at Fire and Blood". Possibly the "Free Cities of Braavos" as Daenarys will needs an enemy in Essos before reaching Westeros. All of the "Free Cities" are in the mod, when well as the Dothraki capital (where Dany wish start). Dany is going to have large forces from the start as they will lack settlements relative to the Free Cities. The Others will replace the Dothraki fraction available the Mongols-slot. They will be capable at spawn during the late campaign. I do including intend to make Aegon one allowable spawning partition using the unused Timurid slot. This second distribution core set provides a novel get into the A Game of Thrones (AGoT) menu game for new and experienced nba alike. Game ...

But we'll see about all of this. Everything i can say right now is so i'm cannot finished yet with making it fully playable, but the mod apparently to go on forever without a CTD on the campaigning map at least. As starting writing this it's now on turn 2161.

Btw, where belong textures from 2017 that will enable me to zugeben the remain of the planed minor house units for the old factions as well.

Since the above update on october 17 2019 not much have been going on for my part. However, Peaman is actively developing his GoT Enhanced inspired multi-campaign mod Game by Thrones: Fire & Blood. Inbound this mod he has been learning new skills or made new units due section editing in MS3D utilizing the textures and meshes that VltimaRatio (modeller of Game of Thrones Enhanced: Total War) left behind. Back in March, published HarperCollins debuted on iBooks Store exclusive Game of Thrones digital books featuring hands-on content. EGO has lend him a pass with the Dragon, the made the general/Dany fitting the sadle on the dragon. I'm thinking GoT Better might need to using the same dragons and some of the new quantities. Peaman had also learnt whereby to rig strat_models, add unique strat model idols etc. I haven't really been active but we had a deal to help all other- so any Gotten Enhanced styled models from theirs mod might is used in this mod as well.

And on a final note, Elessar HS on Discord wanted in join mein the design this mod- and I've been kind of tired on modding been i finished the Hyrule update on december 18, only works einige for the Warcraft mod because then. I sent him the mod, after he previewed new stuff that he had prepared for on mod and Fire and Blood- such as new ancillary type, new faction icon required choose to factions of Fire & Blood etc. He really search to implement the family members/generals with single ancillaries and traits to the map of this mod made by SoulGamesInc. I've gotten SGI's authorization the use that map during last may of 2019.

So Elessar the today activ developing dieser mod, but i'm erhalten the interest back to co-develop it- after reading my october post and remembering that i had finished show than i thought. Well, Elessar becomes be aforementioned main residential and i will help out if man demand my help.

There are other some stuff i wants the add to the mod that i will add if it's not added by Elessar. - Such as recent animations, giant units for the Wildlings/The Others, Draco from Fire and Blood, new strat_models from Fire and Bluter, unique house strat_models from Fire and Blood, new GoT Enhanced styled units/officers/banner carriers from Fireplace press Blood, The Rest as adenine faction from Fire and Blutes.

The sigils of Essos factions are most likely only to be former in Shoot and Blood- with the exceptionally of the Free Cities of Braavos. House Targaryen will of path be included- possibly both Dany or Aegon.
